This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The location near the stream and waterfall was jaw-droppingly beautiful. The hut was so comfortable and cleverly designed that we never felt cramped. And can we talk about the shower? It was simply amazing! We stayed warm and dry during heavy rain, and when the sun was out, the garden provided some lovely spots to relax. The nearby pub was excellent, and the hut was conveniently located for road trips and parking for hiking. The quirky touches like the gramophone and vinyl player added a super cozy ambiance. It had all the essentials we needed, and the bed was incredibly warm and comfy. We were surrounded by wildlife and nature, making it a perfect romantic getaway. Plus, the free tea, coffee, and biscuits were a nice touch. Parking was available, and there were plenty of plug sockets. We can't wait to go back!

Had a fab time at this quirky hut! Loved the gramophone and the fully equipped kitchen. The location was superb, with stunning waterfalls nearby and a great pub just a stone's throw away. Plus, they provided plenty of coffee, tea, and fresh milk in the fridge. Such a cozy and warm place to ring in the New Year!
The layout could've been better and the wood was a bit damp, making it hard to keep the fire going. Some of the furniture and fixtures were worn and weathered, like the rusty old BBQ and broken salt reading light.

My stay at the Shepherd's Hut was an absolute delight. The cozy and thoughtfully decorated interior instantly made me feel at home. The small double bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The outside shower room exceeded my expectations, with excellent water pressure and instant hot water. Plus, the location near the stream and waterfall created the perfect tranquil setting. The nearby pub, The Rock Inn, served fantastic beer and delicious food. With great walks and sights like Hen Cloud and the Roaches just a short distance away, it was the ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts. I highly recommend this unique and picturesque accommodation.
Although not a major issue, the lack of shops or provisions outside of Leek may require some careful planning. it would be nice to have a small cover at the front door for shelter during rainy weather.

Had a phenomenal 5 nights at this cozy cabin. The garden was peaceful and private, perfect for relaxation. The lack of Wi-Fi allowed for a true technology detox. The cooking equipment worked well, and the hot water was instant. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the outside shower was a pleasant surprise. The location was ideal, with beautiful walks and a great pub nearby. a lovely space to unwind.
Arriving by public transport was a bit tricky, with no bus stops close by and limited options for buying provisions. Kindling for the fire would have been a nice touch.
